Sub-committees are presently planning projects for 2011. Various Directors are heading up committees to offer suggestions to the entire committee in the Spring.

Projects will include: Lake Health and Water Monitoring, A Review of the Gartner Lee Recommendations, Site Plan Control and Septic issues, and Public Education.

Environmental Awareness Package    With the help of a NECO LIP grant in 2008, KWEF developed an awareness package for every householder in the Town of Kearney. "Packages for new residents are available from KWEF or the local Cottager's Associations. Individual brochures are available from KWEF, Cottager's Associations or on display racks outside the Town Office."
